Disclosure Statements
Disclosure Statements under the Securities Markets Act 1988 relating to the financial adviser associated with this website are available on request and free of charge.
Any New Zealand financial adviser you contact for advice needs to give you detailed information on nature and level of fees, commissions, and other remuneration an adviser receives, including indirect benefits (compensation that's not in money form).
New Zealand financial advisers also need to disclose details of their experience and qualifications, any interests and relationships they have that might be seen to provide a conflict of interest, the areas they advise on, and any criminal convictions they might have.
This is relatively recent legislation, and we see this as a positive step for the protection of clients and the ongoing professionalism of our industry. Please contact us if you have any questions about our disclosure statements.
At Broadbase International we specialise in providing expert, impartial financial advice for Brits in New Zealand and Kiwis returning from the UK. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about the financial side of life in New Zealand, and remember to ask for a free copy of our comprehensive New Zealand Guide.
